No point sitting around having regrets, go out there and do what you want.

You're only 20, you've still got plenty of time to go out and have fun.

I feel the excat same way! I'm 20 next year and not looking forward to it at all! But then again im depressed on every birthday cause it's just a year closer to death. I also feel like alot of my teenage have gone down the drain and like I didn't make the most of them. I feel younger and look younger than my age but in my opinion your only as old as you feel so don't worry too much.

There's no age limit on those kinda things. Just do it before you're 30. I mean, look at LuLu, she looks rediculous. Mind you, she is my most hated celebrity.

I had my 20 birthday last week - I know exactly how you feel. Yes, it is rather pants, but never mind. You can choose to sit around worrying about it and getting closer to 21, or you can look at it as an opportunity and do something cool and wild.

Im 20 soon ahh and I feel old and its kinda depressing that the teenage years have gone Im sure Ive wasted them by not going clubbing, not having too many boyfriends etc. I honestly feel about 15 - 17 lol and according to people look 14/15. Is anyone else like this or were you/will you be glad to be 20?

Not sure if this thread belongs here but anyway..

I know exactly how you feel. I still feel the same as when I was 16 or 17, but I'm quite a bit older than that now. Although I pretty much look the same.
I just wish I'd known what I wanted to do when I was younger, and I wish I'd worked hard at school, then my life wouldn't be so difficult now! :frown:

I'm 24 and never had a problem with my age. I love being 24. The twenties rock, seriously!
Plus, you are always as old as you feel

you dont have to give up clubbing and boyfriends when you hit 20 - i hope

instead of having regrets about what you think you've missed out on, why don't you start doing them this year, could be your new years resolution.

Doesn't help that family always rub it in, I hate Birthdays

oh and I thought I was the only one who wasn't looking forward to the twenties, I can understand peope hating their age at 40 or 50, but 20

I feel so jaded, like I went out too much when I was younger. Seriously, I went out loads more before I came to uni. I guess having work to do has something to do with it, but it's a good excuse for being anti-social.

don't regret a thing. if you feel that you haven't enjoyed your teenage years then learn something from this and from now seize every opportunity you get!
and i reckon it's totally normal to worry about these things as you approach a milestone!

Its not really that I haven't enjoyed it, I have in my own twisted way lol (had a crush on a bloody teacher for 6 years, nothing happened but still enjoyed  ), lol does that seem strange, but I ve not really been clubbing, had a proper teenage boyfriend so maybe I ve missed out on loads of 'normal' teenage experiences, guess im sad

I don't understand it. I got to do much more interesting stuff in my twenties than in my teens. I did not hate my teens, I enjoyed them. I was happy when I turned 18 and got my liscence. I was happy when I was 19 and graduated from school, moved to London, then moved to the US.
Now, in my 20s, I have done amazing stuff. I went to uni and will continue doing that. I travelled around like you wouldn't believe it.
I rented amazing cars I got to drive around Europe. I may set up my own business. I have done great photography. I just moved to Berlin and am hoping to settle a little, not in a mature, I am too old now way, but in a I love Berlin so much way.

I think every age has it's positive sides. Even the 50s and 60s. My father-in-law couldn't be happier. He is in his 60s, but man, he beats a lot of 30 year olds when it comes to ambition and view of life.

So, stay positive and don't be upset because you turn 20 :hugs:
