Hi can anyone help me please with th following question:
a) solve simultaneously y=x²-3x+3 y=3-x
b) Hence find the area between the curves y=x²-3x+3 and y=3-x
I can do part a) but don't know what to do for part b) any help will be much appreciated

well, once you've done a) you will know the two x coordinates where they cross. you integrate y = 3-x between the 2 x coordinates and then subtract the integral of y=x²-3x+3 between the same 2 x coordinates. ( i think it's that way round, if not, the answer will just be negative, sketch them first to see).

There is a shorter way but ...

Here I subtract before integration.
