Surely with the price increase, there will be fewer people going to university, so will applicants face lower boundries? I think there may be fewer people fighting for places. what do you think?

The boundaries won't change, less people will go.

Look, if there are 500 univs in UK, there are only 50-60 that are having a good reputation. So the amount of students going to these places won't be affected, and neither the grades ( I suppose).
But on the other hand, considering the other univs, many can't rise fees cuz if they do so, they would lose out on students. So yea, ultimately:
1.)the requirements for the top univs will be the same
2.) fees might be tentative for the dubious univs
