My straighteners blew up in my hand!

This morning seemed like any other :frown:

. Little did i know that i was about to have a pair of smoked straighteners. I was merrily using them, while attempting to sort my bag, until i heard a sharp bang followed by some smoke and some flames. My ear still hasn't recovered (its been 30 minutes now) and the flames could have got worse... but me thinking like a true scientist damped my duvet with my water, and shoved it ontop of the flames.

They are Nicky Clarke electric salon strategy pro-ceramic straighteners. I advise everyone to keep well away from this brand in the future!

I am going to appreciate the rest of my life after this close encounter.

nsue them for selling faulty items that could have been potentially dangerous if you had not noticed as it could of caused a serious fire and then could killed someone!
