I'm confused - is it episode 7 or 8 that we find out (spoilers just incase)

I don't think it's been said. It's definitely going to be in the two parter. I have a bad feeling it might be a part of the Episode 7 cliffhanger...the trailer does say (spoilers just in case)

Of course it feels wrong without knowing the backstory/context. They are not just going to make an announcement, whoever she turns out to be will somehow fit in with everything we know so far (and whatever we find out next ep)

Exactly. I doubt they would just say - "river is such and such", they are likely to drag it on a bit and then add more mystery
