I've heard that Zygons are returning to Doctor Who which sounds really cool and I'm looking forward to seeing new designs.

Silurians as chernid said. I forgot about the Cybermats. I wouldn't include Pterodactyl and the Minotaur as returning villains. As far as I remember the Pterodactyl played a tiny part, and was more of an extra than a villain. I haven't seen any classic series stories involving a Minotaur, is there actually a connection between the Minotaur from series 6 and any Minotaurs from the classic series?


I was using the word villain to refer to the antagonist(s) of the story, which includes the monsters.
