Wondering who people thought looked promising talents at the moment? Either around the world to more established names such as Neymar, Lukaku and Gamso or perhaps even a gem at your favourite club. If make suggestions, skip the next two paragraphs!

Being someone obsessed with football playing (school level or red-arse!), watching (TV and Sheff Utd!) and simulated (Football Manager!) I always wonder who will 'make it' from this generation as so many are listed as future the Pele, Maradonna, Beckebauer, Ronaldo or Ade Akinbyi, yet few often make it.

Players such as Rohan Ricketts and Freddy Adu were labeled as having huge potential yet dropped way short and are now somewhat nomadic. Others are labeled as huge but drop a bit short. Perhaps Rooney could be put in this category? Arsenal's current XI were tipped five or so years ago as being unbeatable by now, yet only Fabregas has reached 'world class' heights.

So any suggestions? Of the current crop I would say:
- Neymar (Brazil)
- Gamso (Brazil)
- Lukaku (Belgium)
- Sergio Carnales (Spain)
- Marin (Germany)
- Babacar (plays for Fiorentina and think he's Senegalese?)
- Jack Rodwell (England)
- Kyle Walker (England- biased as I support SUFC, but he's quality!)
- Iker Muniain (Spain)

all have huge potential and watch out for some in Brazil 2014!

Rodwell is so over rated it's untrue. Wilshere who I don't particularly rate is far more talented and puts in far better performances.

And I honestly think that if Kenny rates him and decides to use him, Pacheco will become a top player.

I see what you could mean. But he has incredible physical ability (height, pace, power) and would perfectly complement Wilshere (who I don't rate too highly either) in midfield. He might not ever be 'world class' but I certainly think he could become key for England.

I agree, he's shown glimpses but doesn't get enough time. Maybe next season he'll add to the squad depth, I love him. Been making sure I've seen the Norwich highlights, on his debut he was a total playmaker, brilliant to watch.

Lacazette doesn't seem a bad player either - plays for Lyon for those who don't know

Think someone has been on FM a bit too much.

Anyway Sakho for me, he's going to be a massive player one day. ;/
