I have been looking at several universities, and I don't like what I see a lot of the time.

For example, I looked at York (in particular Vanburgh College) and there was something about a celebration - the pictures show male students with their tops off and painted faces.
This kind of thing is quite popular amongst universities, it seems.

So, I would like to know if there are any universities where this kind of thing does not happen. Where are all the intelligent students writing away at their mathematical equations in the comforts of their rooms?

I also looked at Durham, and although I don't like their rugby culture, I do like the idea of weekly or monthly formals - do any other universities do this?

You want a university where every student is locked away in their rooms studying constantly, where no student is allowed to have any fun or participate in any sporting activities?
