There are a lot of outdated and some, arguably, contradicting information on the home page for this course - http://www.ma.rhul.ac.uk/prospective/cryptographyandcommunications
So I'd like to make sure - does this course still exist?

My main goal is to continue with PhD in cryptography after I graduate MSc. I am already accepted for MSc in Information Security at UCL, and for MSc in Internet Technologies with Security at Bristol, but it feels like RHUL math degree will be a better choice.

Do you have any positive or negative feedback about it? It seems to offer an unique set of courses unlike all other pure math or computer science programs I have seen.

So the question still stands:

Does the course "MSc in Mathematics of Cryptography and Communications" still exist in Royal Holloway and is there a page more up-to-date rather than the one mentioned above?

This course is still running but the link was outdated. Information can be found at:

http://www.rhul.ac.uk/coursecatalogu...%28msc%29.aspx

This course is a very good foundation to pursue a PhD in communication and cryptography. In the last few years several students got funding to continue studying for a PhD at RHUL or elsewhere.

Thanks for the information!

By the way, the new math MSc links
http://www.rhul.ac.uk/coursecatalogu...ions(msc).aspx
and
http://www.rhul.ac.uk/coursecatalogu...lications.aspx
are no longer available on RHUL page since 2-3 days.

Similarly - the old pages can still be reached from
http://www.ma.rhul.ac.uk/prospective left hand menu
as well as from the bottom of this page
http://www.isg.rhul.ac.uk/msc

Are "Computational Number Theory (MT5412)" and "Permutations and counting with groups (MT4860)" no longer available ever since 2008?

On a side note - I found the syllabus reachable from the outdated "MSc in Mathematics of Cryptography and Communications" page very useful to appraise the qualities of the course compared to options from other universities.
