Do people who come to Keele usually go with friends or know anyone prior? I'm doing English & American Lits. with a humanities foundation year, and nobody I know is going to Keele, though I firmed on an unconditional offer. Easy to make new friends?

Don't worry. I didn't know anyone before I came here, and I think that's the case for most first years at Keele. You'll make new friends very easily in the first month or so

A few friends I knew from back home are at Keele with me, but I don't really see them that often! Making new friends is pretty easy, just knock on everyone's door when you move in and introduce yourself! x

um don't you mean 9k for tution fees? Yes obv you go to uni to get a degree but having three years alone with no freinds would drive most people mad.

9k tuition, 9k (three years) accommodation and other bills.

Or at least I am assuming that she was totaling all spending up.

I didn't know anyone, and most people didn't seem to.
I knew a few students from the local area, but they didn't actually know each other before meeting at Keele. :p:
Everyone is out to make new friends at Uni and Keele is no exception.
