If Spurs lose today we won't necessarily need you to beat Spurs

And also, despite it being virtually impossible as it requires you guys to drop 9 points, if there's no pressure on you guys the team might get complacent and you never know :holmes:

The big day has arrived! We absolutely need to win today.

A win today and a draw against Chelsea, would leave us needing 1 point from Blackburn/Blackpool.

No Giggs, Scholes, Fletcher today. One of Rio and Vidic will most likely be rested for Wednesday's big [ger] game.

Park and Nani will play on the wings, with Roo up top on his own. 'So negative, blah blah' - despite Arsenal playing the same damn tactics.

Predo.

- Arsenal will dominate possession for the opening 20 minutes and will be full of energy and fight
- Arsenal will create 3 strong openings in the opening period of pressure
1. The first will be lost due to a moment of indecision causing the chance to fade
2. The second will be wasted with a dreadful miss
3. The third will be a wondersave from Van Der Sar

- United will come into the game with the same boring counterlaunch they usually do, which will be branded 'a classic United counterattack' by the commentary team
- United's first counterattack will end in a narrow miss
- On their second counterattack, United will score a goal. This will result from somebody being in the box who shouldn't be (aka John O Shea), after a really good save, this piece of garbage will slide the ball into an open goal on the rebound
- Arsenal will start trying to score again in the 85th minute and will come close, they will be denied a stonewall penalty, they will score a legitimate goal and have it ruled out for offside and then Arsenal will have a player sent off for a shoulder charge.

It will be Arsenal's season in a microcosm. More possession, more chances, more quality, less goals, no quality officials, ****ing pile of garbage.

More like... We play well with United happy to let us have most of the possession, have a few decent chances that we fail to score from and get done by counter attacks.

Every ****ing time no end product. Expecting a United win.

That's pretty much how my prediciton goes, I just wanted the detail in there.

I think it will prove prophetic, depressingly enough.

2-1 to United, after going 2-0 up and Arsenal scoring a late consolation goal.

Arsenal definitely won't win - just a case of whether or not United will win or draw...

I wouldn't be so sure of that...I wouldn't be surprised if Arsenal won.

It would be classic Arsenal to basically let all hope fade away, pull of an astounding and uncharacteristically comfortable win, and then lose to Derby County or some pub rubbish.
