Hi everyone,

Does anyone know if it's possible to re-schedule Tripos exams for any reason? I have received a place on a graduate scheme that starts June 13th, but I won't be finished exams by then.

Would this be considered a valid reason to ask to re-schedule the exams? Is it even worth asking?

I would be happy to sit the exam earlier, if it were possible, especially because I have huge gaps between all my exams. But, I'm not sure if this is even possible.

Thanks!

I wouldn't suspect that you could take them early, since you'd need to be kept in isolation from any other candidates ...

I'd try speaking to your DoS about it, although you could also have a look on CamExams and see if there's any information there.

Will you be able to keep term if you leave Cambridge that early?

I think it's extremely unlikely. A better option (and what Cambridge are likely to expect you to do) would be to ask to start your graduate scheme a few days late due to having exams. But speak to your DoS about it
