I decided (bad decision, should have just forgot about the whole thing, haha) to read through my dissertation this morning, I handed it in earlier this week. I noticed I'd forgot to footnote reference a couple of quotes - I had used the books several times in my essay, but I think in each case the second quote wasn't referenced, for some reason I'd missed it out. Do you think this would be a problem? In each case I think it's pretty clear I wasn't plagiarizing as I mention the author's name when introducing the quote and they are surrounded by quotation marks. I've already uploaded the paper onto my uni's plagiarism checker thing but I don't know if it's worth letting my tutor know about it... would it show up as plagiarism? Ergh, I double checked the damn thing so many times as well.

I'd email them definitely because it could be counted as plagiarism or you might lose marks it goes through as incorrect referencing. I wouldn't take any chances.
