I'll post one of old crappy fylde rooms soon, they rock! :biggrin:

My one wall is an off-whiteish colour with proper bricks, looks like a prison wall :smile:

Although people applying to come next year should note that my room won't be here. They're being knocked down and replaced with the rather loverly looking nice new blocks directly outside my window! :biggrin:

Only downside being I can't afford to live in one of those next year :P (damn en-suite!)

Which blocks will have new en - suite rooms by 2006? When i put down my three choices im hoping to put down three fairly new ones. Lonsdale and Cartmel so far i think?

On a slightly different theme kinda thing, I was talking to my flatmate today and he said that south west campus is really different to old crappy fylde. Apparantly in the blocks you just have long corridors of doors and no-one has there door open and stuff. I don't know myself but in my flat everyone keeps their door open all the time and when you're bored you just wonder into someone elses room and see what they're doing! :biggrin:

So is it true? Are all south-west campers really that secretive and unfriendly that they have their door shut all the time?! :wink:

We're not unfriendly. We have fire doors which won't stay open unless you have a decent door stop.

On another seperate note, my flatmate stole a doorstop from a geography lab. It's about a foot long! It's just a massive chunk of wood, does the job though :smile:
