And what exactly are they?

Hard to decribe without an NSFW picture.... kinda, lots of little lightheaded dimples scatted across the penis in patterns. They are completely harmless (wikipedia link)

Good question actually... Personally I dont feel insecure.

Nope, they're natural. They help with lubrication...

Honestly, unless something looks really wrong, it's fine however it looks. No one (well, hardly anyone) looks exactly great down there, so don't worry about something that little- to me it wouldn't matter a bit.

I read somewhere that they are glands which secrete fluid to help lubricate before intercourse. Of course, they can be more pronounced on some men than others, but they're nothing to worry about, other than not being that aesthetically pleasing. But let's face it, the genital area on both genders aren't that nice to look at. They can be removed if they really affect self-confidence or if the man is too embarrassed by them, but it definitely doesn't put me off having sex if a man has them. Sometimes they can be slightly over sensitive too, so that's another reason why they might be removed, by laser ablation. It's purely cosmetic really though.

Unless your girlfriend insists on a full and thorough examination of your penis prior to any sexual encounter, you're probably pretty much safe.

It'd take a cold, hard mistress to back out of sex once she's let it progress to the point where your pants come down.

FS you mean? nah it's not a big deal

I read somewhere that about 70% of most men have it so ahhm. I basically see it as the male equivalent of cellulite which ~90% of women have thin or fat so it'd be a tad hypocritical to complain really. It's not a big deal chill!
