from fitzwilliam museum to girton...

hey everyone! tomorrow i'll take the 9:30 coach from victoria to cambridge. my plan is to go and visit the fitzwilliam museum first and then get to girton college around 4-5 in the afternoon.

anyone has any idea how long it will take to *walk* from fitzwilliam museum to girton? or if that's an impossible distance to walk, what other options have i got? ok taxi ISN'T an option lolz :broken:

It's about 3 miles. So you could walk, and it's not a difficult route, but it's quite far.

The Citi 5 bus goes to Girton corner every 20 mins, from the Emmanuel Street Bus station, Stand E which is about 5 mins walk from the Fitz museum. This map shows you how to get between the two. Along Emmanuel Street there's just a row of bus shelters, find stand E and wait for the Citi 5 (should be going towards Bar Hill). It'll cost about £2.50 for a dayrider return thingy.
