Biomed - Sussex and Sothampton Watch

I am really struggling to pick between Sussex and Southampton as my first choice for Biomedicine.

Ive visited both and liked them both. I used to live near Southampton and so know that area fairly well.

Positives i have for Southampton are -

Brand new facilities, Good reputation as Science University, Know the area

For Sussex -

Nice campus feel, Ranks well in ratings, Brighton seemed nice/studenty.

In terms of oppurtunities, i am not sure yet whether i would follow a route in Biomed or Medicine. I know Sussex offers an oppurtunity for interview after Year 1 or 3 for Medicine. Southampton doesn't but when i went to open day they said they had a fairly high number of people who went on to medicine.

Can anyone help me pick between the two in terms of teaching or Uni as a whole? Any experience or thoughts?

Any input will be great as its so hard to choose.
