Help on career?

I am really passionate about physics and would like to go into research in the particle/nuclear physics area. I am getting A's in Physics and will hopefully get my maths up to a B grade ... not enough for the best universities- what would you suggest ? And what kind of degree or anything else I could be thinking or doing?

Thank you
Well, apply for a BSc Physics, do the best that you can. Probably follow that up with a masters degree and then apply for a PhD in your research area of choice.

Also don't worry about making concrete decisons on your postgraduate plans yet, there is a high probability that your research interests may change, and also research positions in particle physics would be quite competitive at the moment because of the high profile LHC experiment etc... sometimes it's wiser to find your own niche and go after the low hanging fruit.
