I am starting my MSc Management in Sep this year and I have heard from someone that lectures are usually only on tuesdays and thursdays while the rest of the week there are no classes. Is this true? Or does it depend on what classes/times you are registering for?

Another thing I am wondering about is that LSE advises students against working part time alongside studies. Would you in general discourage students to reconcile study and a part time job? Is there still enough time for a part time job?

Thanks in advance!

If you tell me which courses you're taking, I can tell you the lecture times for those courses (they tend not to change year on year).

As far as part time jobs go, I don't think I'm disciplined/well organised/hard working enough to study and work, so it wouldn't work for me. Others manage it.

Economics what? BSc straight Economics? Off the top of my head it's like

Monday: 10 AM Economics B
Tuesday: 11 AM Economics B
Tuesday: 1 PM Mathematical Methods
Tuesday: 2 PM Statistics
Thursday: 4 PM Statistics
Friday: 11 AM Mathematical Methods

Add on one more course which is an outside option + 4 classes.

Thanks for that! I'll be doing those 3 courses + Economic History (EH101), any idea of the lecture timings for that course? And I'm guessing class timings vary from person to person, so there's no fixed timings for those?

(Btw, Statistics refers to ST102 and Mathematical Methods to MA100, right? Just checking lol because I know there are other, half unit options)

EH101 is at 1pm on Tuesday - there's only one lecture a week, plus a class. There are loads of classes, so couldn't possibly tell you when yours might be!

(Yes, and the half units are ST107 and MA107)
