Hey!

Been offered Medicine at both Hull York and Barts and The London (Queen Mary)
Have been trying to decide for days, but I am seriously having a hard time - and now suddenly 5th of May is soon here!
Anyone who can help me make the decision? Pretty please...

They both sound good. Check out accommodation and choose which ever has better.

One of the latter two, I would for defo. I do really like Queen Mary and Westfield actually, it's on the central line, and the campus and bar etc are pretty sweet. Just avoid some bad areas nearby. York is good for country and all that, supposed to be a nice city.

I've heard many good things about Barts, so my vote would be for there!

Yeah I think they randomly allocate people to either Hull or York and you can't change where they put you, so I would've thought it's kind of hard to make a desicion based on the location/actual uni!
I haven't been to Barts but as it's part of Queen Mary it's obviously the best choice

Just read Medicine Man's sig. That is all

Now you need someone to vouch for HYMS...

Also, quick question: did you hear from all of your choices by 31st March? Is that why the deadline is 5th May for you? I'm getting paranoid about when I have to reply by, despite having advised others on this matter

Yeah, I pretty much heard from them in February and beginning of March - they also sent a reminder text to my mobile. So that's probably why 5th of May applies to me...

Thank you so much guys!!

I feel bad for HYMS as no one is actually vouching for it - but it definitely helps to get an answer from all of you

I will vouch for HYMS (Hull York) - it is amazing! The lecturers are brilliant, PBL is awesome and the campus is good and friendly. I'm at the Hull campus. I think HYMS is medicine's best kept secret - I wouldn't want to be anywhere else.
