Hello guys,

This is my first thread.

I am a 3rd year classics student undergoing my final exams, and have obtained a conditional offer of a 2.1 for this course.
(I also plan to take a full MSc there the year after)
I was looking for some advice on how to prepare for this course as I have obviously spent 3 years out of mathematics and economics.

The course choices I think I shall take will be:
Introduction to Finance
Financial Accounting
Macroeconomic principles
and
econometrics
or
statistics and mathematics.

any advice would be more than welcome.

Thanks

NMJ

Why not try and get the best grade possible in your undergrad rather than worrying/thinking over nonsensical issues? You'll have plenty of time over the summer to worry about such trivial issues..

You will sample all of the lectures before deciding on the ones you wish to do...

And how does that then help in preparation if I have to wait until I am physically there?
A supercilious attitude isn't really producing any constructive advice.
Thank you for your 'nonsensical' help

Since you have no maths in the past 3 years, just work through the A-Level syllabus to speed yourself up.

There are also good books from Schaums (Maths for finance etc) that should also help.

But like ProspectiveE stated, you should focus on your exams more now.
