If I have four Cl- ions that act as ligands to form a complex ion with Cu2+, I just want to ask/confirm of the following:

1- Is the overall charge of the complex ion 2-?
2- Is the formula for the complex ion CuCl42-?
3- What is the coordination number of the complex ion?
4- Is the complex called tetrachlorocuprate (II) ion?

Thanks.

What is the formula of this ion: Hexachloroplatinate (IV)?

Thanks.
Hexa = 6
Cloro = chloride ions
Platinate = platinum in a negative complex
(IV) = the oxidation state of the platinum = +4

Work out the formula

Oxidation state is +2
Coordination number is 6
Not sure how you'd name it - but I'm guessing
Tetraaquadichloronickel (ii)
Although don't quote me on that
