Metric Spaces

Determine whether (A,d) is a metric space or not.
A=C A = \mathbb{C} ,
Unparseable latex formula:

d(z_1,z_2) = \min\{|z_1|+|z_2|, |z_1-1|+|z_2-1|}\

or 0 iff z1=z2 z_1 = z_2
I know this is a metric space and I've already shown the first 2 axioms(d(a,b)>=0 and d(a,b)=d(b,a)) but I'm not sure how to show the triangle inequality. Would appreciate any help. Thanks.
