Hey

I play the guitar (acoustic), but I'm still learning. I would loooove to start a band at uni, but I don't think I'm good enough on my guitar yet
I was wondering if anyone else was in the same position (or maybe a tad better) to practice with and maybe think about starting a band with??

I'm mostly into pop and rock music

If you are interested PM me or just leave a comment

I imagine it would be helpful to tell people where you are studying.

Hi

I'm starting this year and am learning to play the acoustic guitar!

I like alternative guitar bands like Mogwai and Radiohead.

I used to play the drums in a band, however due to a shoulder injury I had to stop.

I now play the Bass, and while I have only been learning for about a week, I intend to get a lot better over the summer.

I don't really have a set genre, however my favourite bands are Arctic Monkeys, Gallows and Bowling for Soup.

I have bought myself an acoustic guitar too and a self teach book for it, not sure how it will go. Will more than likely just go along at my own pace. Studying pharmacy so it will depend when I have spare time.

What kind of injury?
I dislocated my shoulder playing rugby, but the ligament completely tore off, along with some other needed tissues and a lot of bone was cracked.

If there are any male singers kicking about, either already at or coming to Keele this term, lemme know if you fancy joining a band with a few third-years
