So we watch a film and then discuss it afterwards. Cambo has had the idea to use Catfish as our next film in the TSR Film Club.

Anyone up for watching it and discussing it afterwards?

Catfish
10pm on Tuesday, 3rd May on More4.

When New York photographer Nev Schulman receives a painting based on one of his photographs from Abby, an eight-year-old child prodigy in Michigan, they become Facebook friends, and Nev develops online relationships with Abby's family, in particular with her attractive elder half-sister Megan.

But is everything as it seems? Nev travels to Michigan to find out.

The riveting true story of a photographer's online relationship with an eight-year-old child prodigy and her attractive elder half-sister. The film-makers accompany him on a journey to meet her face to face, but in the process, they discover she is not what she appears to be

A reality thriller that is a shocking product of our times, Catfish is a riveting story of love, deception and grace within a labyrinth of online intrigue.

How did I know it was you who started this Ape? Count me in, but only for certain films - I fail at anything even approaching horror or scary, so will avoid those.

Pokemon: Rise of Darkrai - CITV, 9.25am, Saturday
Big - Film4, 1pm, Saturday
Space Cowboys - 5USA, 2.45pm, Saturday
Trading PLaces - Film4, 9.00pm, Saturday
The Exorcist - ITV4, 10.35pm, Saturday
Child's Play - ITV4, 1.00am, Sunday
Short Circuit - Channel 5, 3.55pm, Sunday

There ya go. Just planned yer whole weekend :h:

I would rather watch any of these than The Godfather or The Truman Show or Trainspotting again. If a thread like this listed upcoming movies that were showing on freeview TV, that would actually be pretty useful
(Original post by Phalanges)
Wow, there's an embarrassment of brilliant films out over the next few days. French Connection, Godfather, Truman Show, Trainspotting, Exorcist, Trading Places....

I'd certainly be interested in getting involved in this if I manage to watch the film (have a busy couple of days coming up). My vote would go for The Exorcist, as out of all of those it's probably the one which will have the most divided opinions.

Trailer looks interesting. I'd guess the implication is that she doesn't exist, or something similar. If that should be spoilered, I don't know.

I watched this recently, reminded me a lot of experiences I've had. How ironic to see it here tbh. It's a good film, I won't spoil it though
