I kinda have two social groups at the moment, one at university and one back home

The one at Uni is more subdued, we go out and stuff but we are taking Ecology which can take up alot of time. We all drink, some of us smoke all around 20.

Back home my old group of friends who I am incredibly close to, are completely mad.

We drink far too much, try new drugs, go out to gigs all the time and what not.
If I stayed at home with them lot, I may be dead by now

lively - not much point in sitting around doing nothing...
boys - i seem to get on with the older males much better than anyone else... even when i was at school i had a laugh with the male teachers more than the females...

I think most people who move away for Uni have two social groups. Mine are quite the opposite of yours however.

At Uni my course is really small and being in the last yr when we have the oppurtunity to go out, we just go all out (our next night out is purely based on absinthe ), more often than not an hour into the night I'm being escorted back home.

At home it is all relaxed and always down the pub for a lazy day.

My Social group at Uni is also really small. There are 12 of us on our course

I love having a small group. We are all very close

I like fairly immature, laid back, intelligent 19-21 year olds.

you can still be immiture, dont get me wrong. i mean a few hours ago me and a mate were covering our other mates door in parcel tape as a welcome home present!

but i think because of the work aspect, i have more of a laugh back home as i dont have to worry about when ill get chance to do my next essay!

its still a laugh though!

I prefer to hang around with people a bit older than me, 20-30 year olds, mainly because most of the people on my course are mature students anyway. A good mix of mature studying and having a laugh is what we're about.

At home, all of my friends are from my school year, so the same age as me, but are considerably less mature than my uni friends.
