Tsarism and communism in Russia Watch

hi, i am writing an essay titled " How far was the First World War a major turning point in the political development of Russia in the years 1856-1956?" one of the things i need to discuss is the differences and similarities between Tsarism and communism. ive found some things on the internet for differences but cannot find similarities anywhere. can anyone help?????

Similarities between Tsarism and Communism are few. Similarities between Tsarism and Russian/Soviet Communism are not very rare.

Three examples, although these are far from the only examples, are:

-Tsarism and Soviet Communism both had authoritarian systems of rule, although Tsarism was rightist authoritarianism and Soviet Communism was leftist

-Both Russia's Tsarist-era constitution and its Soviet constitution enshrined the Tsars and the Communist Party respectedly - Article 4 of the 1906 constitution declares the Tsar's supreme sovereign power, as do the original Fundamental Laws, as the Communist constitution of 1936 repeatedly does

-Both systems employed propaganda, the latter far more frequently
