My best friend has feelings for me Watch

My best friend (we're both girls) came out to me about a year and a half ago telling me that she's gay. I have no problem with it. I suspected it and to be honest was relieved that she could finally tell me. As far as I know, in my mind our friendship remained the same, except that now we go to gay clubs every now and then so that she can be around her scene. I'm straight, but I don't mind the gay scene either as I already have a lot of gay and bisexual friends anyway.

Anyway, it's become apparent that she has more than innocent feelings for me. We are best friends, but we're really not the girly types, (as in you'd never catch us hugging or touching much) but lately she's become really touchy-feely- it's pretty out of character as we were never like that before. I put it down to her feeling more confident about herself now she's out but now I'm not sure. She told me recently when she was describing her perfect girl that the girl would basically be just like me. Then yesterday, we were drunk and she more or less came on to me and said she used to have a crush on me. We haven't spoken since, I'm sure she's embarrassed.

I know this being TSR I'm going to get a few sordid jokes, but this isn't the set up to some kind of low budget porno, she's my best friend, I want to still have her in my life as my best friend and nothing more. How can I put this across to her without hurting her or encouraging her further? We've been mates for like 6 years.

You can remain friends as long as you just sit down and talk about it. If you keep it in your head and let it become a barrier between you, you'll end up losing a friend.

lol You will have to be stern when telling her that your full on straight.

Just explain that you want to be friends only, (and perhaps stop going to gay bars etc as this might give her the wrong impression)
