I have never found a time table to work either for revision. I try and spend a day (thats around 3hrs maybe more in holidays) doing 1 subject. Or half and half. Maybe do a few maths questions at the end but thats it. That way it only takes a few days to revise the whole unit.
I find plans dont work because it really depends on what you feel like studying (unless an exam is within days).

try asking your teachers for revision lessons whenever possible - i haven't opened a book at home yet, but the lessons have served as good memory refreshers, i'm much happier about my resits (2 in history) since they started. May as well give them a try, whats the worst that can happen?!

I'm planning to learn all the reaction equations of the first topic of unit 4 edexcel chemistry (5 pages worth) the night before. (jan exam)
I learnt them all for my end of topic test in a whole day, now I've forgotten 3/5 of it!!! So I think the most easiest way it to cram it all in before the exam
