I don't think he used a BMW transmission at all. Probably couldn't handle launches like that. Souned like an Powerglide drag race transmission. 2-speed automatic, with a loose/high stall converter. Powerglides are bulletproof. They're used by the fastest dragrace street/race cars. Very good for drag racing because there's only one shift so less time is wasted.

Traction control I think not. More like fat ass slicks and very good suspension. Did you notice how high the front end came up? The only reason it didn't pull a proper wheelie was because the turbo lag is so high, it doesn't launch on full boost/power. If this car made similar power using a supercharger or nitrous, it would've lifted the front wheels for about 60 feet unless wheelie bars are used.

Damn nice car, I'd love to have one. The track looks a little downhill though .

Does anyone know what 253.7kmph is in mph?

    157.6mph.

I don't even like cars, but that was very cool. I'll admit I watched it more than once
