IB scores and Warwick Uni

Hey guys, was wondering what score you think I should be looking at in order to have a possible offer from Warwick University. I am a Polish citizen but been on a yearly exchange to Australia. I would wish to study Economics and Politics and International Studies, I have checked and they do not require Maths HL. I also speak German apart from English and Polish. I was wondering whether the fact that my IB school is in fact is a state school, but a very selective and prestigoues school in the country doesn't give me less chance than if I went to a private school. I am just concerned that in the UK state school are considered to be those of the second category. What would you say?

im polish too and want to study economics so i know more less what you need for eco at warwick. they want math Hl(atleast for the eco courses) and 36 or 38 points. its really good school one of the best in uk for economics. if you graduate the IB then it doesnt matter what kind of school you go to if its private or public you have the ib diploma and thats waht counts. in uk the ib schools are well recognized as i noticed and they know ib is a good proglram you shouldnt worrie about that. im sure if you send them a mail or call then they will send you as prospectus and more info. ( you can find thier phone number and email at http://www.ucas.com/instit/i/w20.html its a ucas based info with links to warwick site) if you got any more questions pm me and ill try to help you out.
good luck

The best thing to do would be to e-mail Warwick, according to their website http://www2.warwick.ac.uk/study/undergraduate/socialstudies/economics/#offers
you need 38 points including bonus points.

It shouldn't affect your chances whether you go to a private or state school, and since you're in Poland, the university probably doesn't even know which one you go to...
