Hey everyone

I am wondering if you know of any interesting categories that I could potentially use for my english essay/exam.

My teacher says that you don't get as high marks for using the basic "These texts have the same grammar" etc so I was wondering what ideas you have. I was given an example in class about a group on nature, but I can't use that one.

I know you don't know what texts I have infront of me at the mo but any ideas would be appreciated!

Thank youououoou

If I were you I'd look at narrative techniques... these are a few off the top of my head but there are loads more:
form
structure
genre/theme
motifs
narrative voice
settings
language
