Currently for AS levels I'm taking Maths, Physics, Computing and Economics (Also the Welsh bacc)

I understand that I should take Maths and Physics but I would rather take Computing for the 3rd because I enjoy it more than Economics. Would this put me at a bit of a disadvantage if I wanted to apply to high ranked Universities? (Carrying all 4 isn't an option incase that's suggested)

I shouldn't think so. Computing is a large part of most engineering degrees

Computing is very relevant to engineering so there's no problem with that. Having an AS in Economics is enough to show some breadth.
