some people are catholic though. pope condemns condoms
Umm, if they're catholic they're not sleeping around with people they don't know all that well. They're sleeping with their husband or wife. If not then they're abit of a hypocryte to say condoms are against my religion.

As with everything, the chance of getting cancer is due to a balance of assessed risks. You increase your risk of death when you cross the road, you increase your risk of getting cancer when you smoke a cigarette. Doesn't mean that you will, just that you've got a higher chance of it happening.

By being a vegan/fruitarian i aim to cut out and minimalise any risks associated with the intake of food and the activities of my bowel - i am a health freak with a social conscience - i choose not to eat certain products because of my moral beliefs and political standpoint - i am a non-conformist by nature

There is a correlation between HPV (Human papillomaviruses) and cervical cancer. Women who became sexually active younger, or have had more sexual partners are more likely to have acquired HPV and therefore at a higher risk of Cervical cancer - hence women are recommended to undergo rountine smears once they have become sexually active.

I have actually heard a male freind of mine say he won't use condoms because he is catholic, so it's up to the girl to use birth control, yet he has premarital sex.

Wow, I'm so jealous! The closest I've got to wearing a pair of scrubs, white coat and stethoscope was the Medics Vs Lawyers pub crawl!

but what is worse is they pass it on to others.

Men are more likely to pass on STDs to women than vice versa.

just wondering about the taboo subject of anal - is it true that u can catch aids more easily doing that (u know the disease once known as the homosexual disease) than normal sex. Having never been brave enough to try it with previous girlfriends i was wondering

yes, there is a higher risk (in theory)

Though HIV transmission is now higher in heterosexuals than homosexuals.
