I want to get fit this summer. I have been really lazy this last year and think this summer would be a good time to make a change.

I dont have much money so cant really afford the gym (even if I could I find it so boring) or lots of classes.

I would like to start something that is cheap/free.

Running would be free but I have a hip injury that always plays up when I run.

Any ideas for my situation?

Thanks

If you're bored of gyms then you seriously need to get a better imagination on what you can do. Its not hard.

I used to love swimming and it keeps you very fit. Also cycling might not aggravate your hip so much as you don't get the impact that you do with running?

Yeah someone suggested swimming, I think that's a good idea.

I'd also say sports like Squash and depending on how bad your hip irritation is tennis, badminton & hockey also.

You could join a local sports club and train a few times a week
