Hey Guys
Ive got my English combined (Lang & Lit) A2 exam creeping up and I was hoping for some more wider reading suggestions?
I was thinking maybe reading 'the handmaids tale' or 'Pride and prejudice'
Or something helpful
What would you suggest?
Thanks xx

Hey
I'm on the same course and were given a list of things we could read tat would go well...

Pride and Prejudice
Vanity Fair
Jane Eyre (links with heathcliff and Mr Rochester)
Some Dickens like Great Expectations or Oliver Twist

We're alo studying Spellbound by Emily Bronte and going back over Othello to use as wider reading

Hope that helps x

I did Wuthering Heights for my first section of English LitLang AQA and I read Jane Eyre, Pride and Prejudice as well as reading about what life was like in those times from history books too.

read Twilight
The recent prints of Wuthering Heights come with a sticker 'Bella and Whats-his-name's favourite book', so I assume Stephanie Meyer provides some fresh insights...
