"Oi you. Will yer go out wiv me."

Just kidding. That was a chav. I like just being told how someone feels for me and that they'd like to see me more often.

A boy once said to me "can I kiss you?"

I thought that was really sweet.

Edit: He turned out to be a total arse, though.

 That made me giggle! I mean, not that it is amusing that he is an arse, but you know...

and that is quite sweet!

It was sweet at the time. He sat down next to me and we were talking and he suddenly just went "can I kiss you?"

Obviously I didn't go "yes", I just sort of smiled enigmatically and he took that as a yes.

It only emerged that he was an arse afterwards. Still rather sweet though.

Ahh, my current boyfriend was so romantic. We were at a house party, but we went outside and there were all the stars and everything (we'd been best friends so he knew I was a proper romantic freak). Then he went back inside and put on my favourite song that had sort of come to be 'our' song, so I could hear it coming from inside. He came back and hugged me and basically said, "I really really like you, as a friend but more than that" and then he got all nervous and started babbling, before saying "Will you go out with me?" How could I refuse!
Haha, okay, stop throwing up now, I'm a cheese monster at heart

I know this is a lasses thread, but you can't stop me posting
In the past I've tried being all romantic à la supercats post. Didn't work.
Tried just getting a quiet, private moment and asking her straight. Didn't work.
Tried being kind of jovial. Didn't work.
Tried lots of eye contact and smiling etc, followed by a confident "Could I have your number?" with a couple of girls I didn't know. Went on a couple dates, but nothing major.
Being set up by someone else ended up being a complete disaster.
Never been asked out by a girl I fancied, and I'm not gunna go out with someone for the sake of it...

As you can probably tell I've never had a girlfriend lol. I've tried to find out what's wrong with me. Asked my male and female friends. Aside from being a geek and a little excitable and loud at times (and not very good-looking), there doesn't appear to be anything major. I'll admit I live somewhere outside Hull, so the majority of lasses are chavs, or quite immature (think playing mind games is clever). And the few girls I really like end up being too good friends. Say they don't want to jeopardise a good friendship by going out with me. It just gets me down sometimes. Where are all the nice girls hiding? :frown:

The 'Can I kiss you?' is the nicest thing EVER! It's so damn sweet! You just want to kiss them after that, it's making them look all vunerable for a change. And if they're cute, well...Ah
