In my second year of university I plan on moving out of halls into a flat or small house with my boyfriend. However, he isn't a student.

Would I be allowed to share a private sector student accommodation (or any kind of off campus student accommodation) with somebody who isn't a student at university?

Student landlords may not want non-student tenants, and also it would mean you only getting a 25% reduction in council tax.

It depends on the landlord. Some won't mind as long as you pay the Council Tax.
