if you take the sum of its digits from a number you will always get a multiple of 9 (or base-1 if your not working in a base10 system). all the multiples of 9 have the same symbol. they change the symbols everytime you click "try again" so you feel that it isn't repeating (as it would do)

I was claiming another card trick similar to this one was the cause of the professor's comments. People do leave comments, and stuff on that website. and you have to think out side teh box to know what to do.

There are only 10 possible answers (all multiples of 9). You can 'predict' the symbol by looking at 0 (or 9, 18, 27...etc)

yeah its not that hard to figure, i could make one if i felt like it but it seems like it would take about 3 months to create, and i aint that sad!
