Hi was wondering if anyone could help me out with a little information. I've got to decide between uwe for film studies and oxford brookes for film/history.

I would like to know pro and cons of both, so far it seems like bristol wins easily on nightlife and activites but would like to know more information from someone at oxford i have a few friends at bristol so I have a good idea of what the nightlife is like there.

Secondly and more so would like to know more about the structure of the courses at both universities checked the relevant websites but didn't reveal much.

At uwe how much option is there for practical work or is it mainly theoretical, hours etc?

At brookes seems like there is much more diversity in film course but what is the history like, hours, work load etc?

Any information about the two universities would be great and i'll try and help with any questions people might have, can help out anyone thinking of nottingham as i was there last year.
