After 18-months with my Samsung Tocco Ultra, I'm in need of a new handset. I'm on Orange and have spent a large amount of time looking on the website, the trouble is I can't seem to find anything decent or that I like except a full touch screen. I like the Nokia N8 or Samsung Galaxy but the problematic twist is I don't really want a touch screen, simply because my eyesight isn't exactly the best and I find texting hard with the touch screen - everything else is fine. If I could find a decent type-touch or just touch screen phone which is T9 pad and has good texting capabilities I'll go for it.

Although I'm not to fussed because I don't really want / need my phone for that much, so it doesn't need to be that high end / top spec. All I need it for is to phone, text and take decent photos. I'm not into the new kid twitter / facebook craze of finding out what colour of socks my friends are wearing or telling them what I'm having for lunch; or watching youtube vidoes, playing games or listening to music on my phone.

Any recommendations are welcome.

Thanks in Advance.

I wouldn't get a contract. Get a nice basic Nokia, Sony Ericsson or any other well known make for around £10-£30, and perhaps get a SIM only contract or a monthly rolling contract like with giffgaff.

http://play.com is good.

Yeah i considered getting a sim-only deal, that would save me a bit of money. Howver, I still need a handset as my Tocco is gossed.

The texting cabailites of the Samsung E1120 are pretty poor and even more it has no camera. But for a £20 phone you can't really complian that much.
