I need some advice. I studied BA in Film and Broadcast Production at University and have since worked in a supermarket (not by choice). I started volunteer work with a charity called Read it together just over a year ago and then went on to volunteer in a classroom. I got rejected from several Universities. Now I'm determined to get onto a PGCE next year so I have lined up some more work experience, getting involved in Rainbows and I'm considering going back to college but I'm wondering what sort of vocational course will improve my application.
I've found ICS do a long distance Cache course in Childcare and education and I'm wondering since I can't go back to college full time if this would be a worthwhile choice?

or should I opt and go for this one if I have the opportunity?

I'm also wondering if I don't get onto a PGCE course next year what career options would I have with this qualification.
