Do I go or don't I go?!!
Argh. Deep breath, sorry long.
I met a guy on friday night, we stood chatting for 3 hours (it was v quiet and I was working!) non stop, then he waited for me to finish (+1 hour) and then walked me back to my car. Nothing happened other than a kiss on the cheek, I dropped him off, then I went home. He asked me to stay, I said no. End of. He texted me all night (well, morning, I didn't finish until 4!) and then all day on Saturday.
Saturday evening, he texted me saying that he was v sorry, but had only just split up with his ex (here we go, I thought...)and thought I should know as she wanted them to get back together, but he didn't. About an hour later, he sent one saying that he'd told her it was over. I saw him out later that night, he again said that it was definitely over and he didn't want to see her anymore. He went home early, again asking me to stay, again saying no. Still no kiss (me more than him, I wasn't in a position to really as I was working again!!) but kiss on the cheek, not a prob as it's me not him holding back.
Sunday we were meant to be going for lunch, we'd arranged to meet at 1.30 at a bar/restaurant which was fine by me, drove into town. Went into other work to talk to my friends, when I had a text saying 'What time are you coming 'round then?' I was like 'WTF?!' Never ever said I'd go around. So I told him to pretty much F off and don't insult my intelligence.
He did apologise, but then later on he sent me a 3 part text saying he was really sorry but him and ex were going to give it another shot. So I said that's fine, then he sent one back saying 'I still find you really, really attractive and want to remain friends...' Ok, I said, fine. He's cool, we were getting on well etc etc etc.
Then he said, did I want to go out for a drink on Wedsas friends- as I have to go for a staff meeting - I said yes, that's fine. Then he said, I'm actually quite broke so do you want to come 'round mine, I'll get something other than beer in (I thought he was broke..!!); said yes again. Then the texts started getting quite, well, forward again. Not in any way really, just when I said I'll have to drive home he said 'Oh you can stay here if you want...' (Ok, he does have 2 spare bedrooms but I never know whether he means there or in his!!) - PLUS he'd already said he was back with the ex, so whats going on there!?

not knowing whether to go or not. I've just (well a few months ago, but it really properly, truly died last week) split up with ex-bf of 3 years, so am so not getting this whole dating and guys thing! Do I go? Is he just a shagaholic...

I think the bit where he said that he's gonna get back with his ex is because he is trying to make you jealous and want you to want him, so he might be lying on that bit.

Erk! He just called me, spoke for 20 mins, argh! He says he doesn't know what's happening, I think I'll back him into a corner tomorrow and tell him straight that I don't want anything to do with him until he's sorted it out.
