How will you get a job? Do they pay well over there?
i can get a job here for a british company that works in poland and earn british wages, but live in poland and earn relatively more (because prices are so much less). but i dont know if that means i still have to repay the student loan, seing as i will still be officially earning in britain

I thought there was a loophole where if you leave the country for more than 5 years, the debt would be written off.

Teach English. What else?
Well I'm sure there's other things you can do as well as teach English. But that's a nice job, helping other people.

i heard similar, it will become popular if people run up big debts to repay from the student loan.

Probably not... (but you could be one of those back-alley plastic surgeons who end up on 'When Surgery Goes Wrong 4').

My intention is to stay in Latvia for only one or two years, then return to England and go to uni (a gap year, basically).

Starting with the room next door, then Oxford. But maybe a sidetrack to the local pub along the way.

2 years would be a very long time out.

don't you think one would be more appropriate?

if you think, you'd leave 6th form in June, then go back a year and 4 months later. (october year after).

its a long time....

I have a photographic memory, I'm not likely to forget anything.

There might be a person or two that I'd miss, but I won't regret leaving England behind for a while.

Yes of course I'll whisk you off to Poland as long as we can have babies.
Well, take things slow Bradders. Girls don't like to be rushed.

Latvia does have computers, you know.

Whereas edders is spreading love across the atlantic, I'll be enforcing the great British name in the Baltic.
