I wonder which vitamins should I take that could make my skin look better? Anyone knows? Like vitamin A and E. may be somethign more :confused:

They won't work unless you have a deficiency, which is highly unlikely. That said, ultra-dosing of vitamin b5(pantothenic acid) has worked for some.

um vitamin e is always a good one for skin (the oils got for stretch marks) you can get it in creams as well
go in and ask at any large boots store or herbal shop

Oh, and I also heared that there are some pills/vitamins that give some light tun to your skin. Does anyone know what pills are that?

Vitamin D is supposed to be good. However, you can get the vitamin D you need if you go out in the sun for a couple of minutes.

However, I think the best thing you can do is to drink water. That really helps to perk your skin up.

Yeah the water think helps, also vitamin supps only help if you dont have enough to start with, a deficency, and ultra-dosing can harm your body. Its a common myth about vitamins (that they help that is), if you eat a balenced diet you get all of the vitamins you need anyway. Just drink a lot of water and wash the skin with just plain water everyday.

Yeah the water think helps, also vitamin supps only help if you dont have enough to start with, a deficency, and ultra-dosing can harm your body. Over-dosing on vitamins can be extremely dangerous and should never be attempted unless it is a clinically proven treatment supervised by your doctor. (i.e. regular blood tests to check liver and kidney function etc).

I work for a well known health company and can I just stress that unless you have been diagnosed as having a deficieny, then there is no need to take a vitamin A, E or D supplement. I say these particular vitamins as they are what is known as 'fat soluable' which means that your body stores them. Whereas vitamins B and C are 'water soluable' so any excess that you have, your body flushes out daily via urine. It is possible to have too much vitamin e, d and a...so if you did want to make sure you're getting adequate nutrients then a good varied diet will help, plus a decent mulit-vitamin supplement. When a vitamin is sold by itself it may be a lot stronger than your recommended daily allowance...whereas in a multivitamin it generally isnt as strong.

unless you have a deficiency taking more vitamins wont do much for the skin, but using vitamin creams like vitamin e cream is good for the skin. and although not a vitamin, zinc is good for healthy skin and also eating more oily fish.

What about it? Again, if you have deficiencies then increasing intake will improve things, if you don't have an omega3 intake deficient and/or a correct omega3:redface:mega6 ratio in the diet then health may improve when this is corrected.

like imasillynarb said, only if your deficient in essential fatty acids, vitamins or minerals then it wont really help you. you can apply vitamin e creams, cocoa butter or aloe vera to your skin to help improve your skin aesthetically. drinking plenty of water is also good for skin too to keep it hydrated and healthy.
