Art and Design Foundation in Oxford Brookes

Anyone here currently doing art and design foundation in oxford brookes?
I want to know what they are like with Art and Design becasue i am thinking of applying there.
Just want to know what is the estimate intake of A and D foundation class?
What is the interview like?
Please helpx
hey there!

i had interview there for fine art degree and it was easy, just speaking about your work, so I should think the foundation interview should be really easy. all my foundation interviews were a piece of cake compared to most of my degree ones. you should be fine. i'm coming to an end of my foundation at the arts institute at bournemouth, the intake here is 300, but it varies depending on where you study. i would suggest applying to bournemouth for foundation, one of the best places for the course, really good reputation. as for oxford brookes i dont hear about it being good art related, that is why im wondering about there for my degree. anyway, good luck with everything. xx

Hello, I applied for my art and design foundation course at Oxford Brookes and Camberwell and i got offers back from both unis, however I have no clue where to go, such a hard decision! In terms of what would look good on ucas, how much help you get from tutors and work space available I'd say brookes is good. The interview is really laid back, you just drop your portfolio off and they give you a talk and a tour then you're done, and they let you know within two weeks. It's supposed to be one of the best places to do a foundation course, however I'm thinking about going to London because I find there's more to be inspired by and you'd probably gain more contacts. hope this helps! xx

Hi, which uni did you choose in the end? I was thinking of applying to Brookes for a foundation year but they say they don't want any GCSE work on the portfolio and I only have A level textiles work and graphics work experience work, could you give any advice what kind of stuff they may be looking for in the portfolio?
