OT Interviews at Northumbria

Hi,

I was wondering if there were any prospective OT students out there who've had an interview for Northumbria.

When did you submit your application, and how long was it before Northumbria contacted you with an interview date?

I submitted mine on the 26th Oct, and I haven't heard anything from them, either good or bad, and I'm getting a bit worried.

Any info you could provide would be great.

Hay!

I havent applied for OT but my friend has, which unis have u applied for it at?
shes applied for sheffield hallam, derby, northumbria, coventry, liverpool, salford.

not sure if shes heard from them tho il find out for you.

Don't panic about not hearing yet - it doesn't mean anything. If OT is anything like physio the uni's will be interviewing up till around march time. They'll let you know in due course. Its not panicing though but don't worry! Im not sure if knowing the following will make you feel better/worse but KCL left me waiting till the very last date of the ucas cycle in June to tell me I was rjected!

That kind of makes me feel worse (ho hum)

I heard from another OT forum that Northumbria already had an interview round, which I think is making me panic a bit more. (i.e. an interview day has taken place which I wasn't invited to - makes me think I must be getting a rejection).
I've only applied for Northumbria and Carlisle(today), so I don;t have that many options.......

Uni's don't just do one round of interviews, they do loads. Georges nterview until march and have about 2 interview days a month. So just coz you didn't get invited to one round doesn't mean you won't get invited to another

Thanks Jackie, you have put my mind at rest. I'll try not to worry. Worrying is like rocking in a rocking chair, it's nice but it doesn't get you anywhere.... I will keep this little analogy in mind, and I should be OK.

hey just postin here again as asked my frend she put her form in just after the half term holiday in october and has had a letter from Northumbria saying tht they have her form, but doesnt have a interview/rejection yet.
she had an interview at sheffield hallam the other week for O.T doesnt know if she has got in yet tho..
