K..im gonna try to keep this as short as poss...
A week and 4 days ago the boyf and split up after summat triggered summat else off in his head and he went out, got bladdered and cheated on me. Nice. So, anyway, me here, a mess already get told all of this and then that he needs time to be himself and it was all too intense and lets stay friends-to which i laugh. He said he was happy etc but just wanted time to himself and no, he hasnt been with any other girl since the split. So, after crying my eyes out etc etc. Ive pretty much shut off all contact with the boy and have tried to move on. This is where the problem begins...met a guy, amazing, lovely, we were chatting about r.ships cos he was in a similar position i was in. But when he tried to even hug me i pushed him away...i tried to explain what was in my head but was totally incapable of doing so and he got very frustrated.
Im now very scared that the ex has caused this and that im gonna turn out like the low-life, self-centered sadist that he is. . .
Come on now! With a name like Selwyn...what should I have expected?!

I think its just that you need some time to move on from the situation. Time to heal Like you said, its not even been two weeks.
*hugs* (as long as you dont mind!)
