You need to take a pregnancy test asap & if it's not pregnancy you need to phone your GP just incase it's a bug or something. You wouldn't be showing signs 3 days after having unprotected sex but it's best to phone your GP and make sure. You need to come up with a system to regulate your pill more because it's not safe missing it and taking double often.

Definitely take a pregnancy test, although it may not show up because two weeks is still really early. Usually it's from 3+ that you start getting symptoms. You can get expensive ones, but you're best off going to the GP or a sexual clinic where it'll be free.

I would definitely take a test, they aren't that expensive and pretty accurate. You don't have to have symptoms to be pregnant but spotting can be a symptom. Take a test, if that comes up negative it may be something else affecting your period & you'll need to contact your GP about it.

Didn't take the pill for 2 weeks straight, then took it for two days, had unprotected sex with boyfriend 3 times and then forgot pill till day after. What are the chances? I feel weirdly nauseous but think that's more to nerves than anything. When is the most accurate time for me to take a test? X

If you didn't take it for two weeks straight then you're not protected. Did you have unprotected sex during that two weeks?

If you go off the pill you're supposed to wait until the day of your next period and take it. In that time you won't be protected & so i'd definitely take a test. It depends when you had sex unprotected, but usually 3 weeks will be most accurate. If you're feeling nauseous now, take on now.

I didn't have sex during those two weeks, but I did only take two pills after the two week break and then had sex. I will wait three weeks till after the deed to make sure most accurate as could just be worrying.

Thank you for advice. Wouldn't be bad if I was, in a secure relationship, just was curious if I would have been protected or not.

Don't mean to intrude on another post but was reading this and thought someone might have the answers I need.. I had my implant taken out like 4 days ago and was put on the pill but didn't take the pill until two days after having my implant out, I've been having unprotected sex since as the pharmacist told me there was little chance I'd ovulate, but I have ovulation pains and am now so stressed that possibly she was wrong? I already have 2 children from a previous relationship and so does my partner so im not really ready to have a 5th to look after especially when I'm only in my early 20s.. Some help please, I will be doing a test after I'm due to have my break on my pill but it's such a long time away.

Systems of pregnancy are similar to pill side effects. If ur worried go to a doctor or a clinic. If u've never missed a pill chances are ur not and ur stressing ur self out which causes periods to be late.

Hey thanks for all the replies, it still worries me sometimes though lol. Like i've just come back from holiday, and sometimes i was like 4 hours late taking the pill. However someone told me as long as you take it within like 5 hours of your usual time you're okay? Does anyone know if this is true? Also because i've been on it for a few years, and don't want to get pregnant til i'm like late 20's, it looks like i'm going to be on the pill for a long time, is it okay to take the pill for 10 years plus? or could this be damaging? xx
As long as you take it within 12 hours of your normal time then everything should be fine.

When beginning the pill for the first time you should wait 7 days before having unprotected sex.
However, as you had just had the implant removed it is unlikely that you would ovulate, as it takes a few weeks for your hormones to return to normal.
Obviously the only way you can be sure is by visiting your doctor/taking a pregnancy test.

I'm assuming you are fine now. I doubt having a heavy period you would be pregnant. 👌🏽

I've been taking microgynon 30 for 2 years (with the 7day breaks) but last month I stopped taking them for about two weeks (as I had none left and the doctor couldn't get more for me for 2 weeks) and started taking them again on Monday but I've had sex but my boyfriend hasn't came in me. But I'm scared in case I might be pregnant. Please help as I'm quite young

Hi I'm 16 and I've just recently started having unprotected sex with my long term boyfriend, I am on the pill but very worried I may be pregnant as sometimes I forget to take my pill at the exact time (20 minutes late) and I'm very concerned whether it will affect the chances of me getting pregnant. Recently I have had mild head aches, dizziness and my breasts have started to become quite sore. Please help

You shouldn't be doubling up your dose of you miss. That's likely to give you side effects more than premature pregnancy symptoms.

If you're late taking your pill you really shouldn't be having unprotected sex. If you don't want children or stds you shouldn't be having unprotected sex regardless. If you're poor at taking the pill there are other methods like injection or implant or an iud
