Intimidating?!

I'm starting to get worried because the boys in the block of flats I live in seem to find me 'intimidating'... I am very honest and open, and when I like someone I will tell them straight up. I thought this was a positive character trait, however the boys seem to think otherwise and find me 'predatory' and 'sexually aggressive'... lol. I'm not big and scary or anything (see profile pic if you want to know what I look like!! :p: ) so I don't understand why they would find me so intimidating!!

The other night I was int their kitchen rather drunk and confronted them about about it. The guy I really fancy and have kissed (even though he has a gf :frown: ) corrected me when I asked why they find me 'a bit intimidating', saying they find me 'extremely intimidating'!!! Do men really want girls to be meek and mild and not ever make the first move??

Any ideas people??

I think men dont mind when you push a relationship but when you take full control it can be quite intimidating. Being a hotty i dont think anybody should be complaining with you doing it though.
Hmm, well... seeing as though this "intimidation" only occurs when drunk, it's not that bad...

You kissed a guy with a girlfriend? Shame on you...
I scare boys, too. But it's ok, because it means you can choose to only talk to the attractive ones!
I scare easily.

Sure, it takes two to tango... But i would never ever even consider kissing someone with a boyfriend, it's down ride immoral and disrespectful.

haha you could totally turn that around and use it to your advantage i think for a laugh to test them!!

if you say completely act the oppisite for a while say a few days and then they say something to you about you being differant, then you know go back to being you and they will prefer you as they know you and not differently,
of course they will say things like that they are guys ive kissed someone elses boyf before now and totally got majorly hated for it!!

they are taking an interest in you to notice that a bunch of guys and a girl umm wonder why they said that!!! to get the upper hand so they can wind you up about it and know it annoys you!!!

usually if girls play hard to get...im off, it depends on what kind of intimidating we're talking about, loud and gobby or just sexually forward?

I think that its because you're displaying what they would consider to be 'male' personality traits, i.e. sexually aggressive, straightforward, confident, etc. Though they would value these traits in themselves, they find it hard to accept them in a pretty, petite woman.

You can either change the way you act, or just say to them, "Look, I'm aware of the way I am and I like the way I am. You can either respect the fact that I will act the way I do and learn to like it too because after all, it does mean that you know a girl who will always be honest with you. Or, you can decide that you don't respect a woman who is as strong as you and carry on seeing women as ladylike, quiet little things. In the end, its your choice, but you might want to look at why you're intimidated by me, because that's your fault, not mine."

Men are intimidated by me, too, and I've learned to live with it. They'll probably get used to you in the end.

I think your profile pic makes you look very intimidating!! Its just you though...n its sexy!!
Ur v. attractive maybe thats the problem. They think ur out of their league so think ur just flirtin and windin them up. Maybe if u toned it down a tad and spoke to them they might feel differently.
